Best Car ever owned - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Westpalmer - April 21 - 7:26 pmWhen I mentioned Hyundai to some guys I get the rolling eyes and the standard remarks, cheap, non performing, low ratings etc. I bought my Santa Fe new after much fighting with my hubby who wanted me to buy anything but that. Well, my car has a 155,000 miles and other than regular oil changes and scheduled maintenance (which I performed faithfully at the dealership), the only out of warranty repair I had was a new battery at 101,000 miles and a broken power steering container at 107,000 miles. Its a perfect vehicle for busy families. Its comfortable in the front and back and the back holds plenty of luggage and supplies. The money I saved was used on vacations with my family!

Nine years and 150,000 miles later..... - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By cshaw22 - April 2 - 6:16 pmI bought my Santa Fe new in 2004. After 150,000 miles, it has spent more time broken than any car I have ever owned. Since new we have replaced the crank sensor 6 times, the throw-out bearing grenaded taking the clutch with it, the radiator disintegrated, the cat converter burned out, the power steering pump shaft broke, etc, etc. The tranny has been solid as many times I was able to restart by downshifting and popping the clutch which made the tranny scream but got me to the house. I bought an extended warranty which paid for itself many times over. It rides and drives great but breaks down too often. No longer my daily driver, but still my beater as it hauls a lot of stuff, when it runs.

Nice Ride - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By SWMan - March 29 - 10:00 amGood value. Smooth ride and much quieter than our Ford Windstar. One problem with putting it in park (started rolling a couple of times). Hyundai rep told me that they can be difficult to put in park.

Great Car for a Great Price! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By friend7200 - March 29 - 10:00 amThis car is a wonderful vehicle for a decent price. I recently purchased a 4 cylinder, front wheel drive base model with the utility package included. I love the car, it looks great, runs great, and is pretty good on gas. The safety ratings for this car are out the roof. This car was recommended by consumer reports for safety and value.

Worth The Money - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By ardiemuse - February 20 - 2:00 amA fine vehicle to date. All the amenenities at an affordable price. Fit and finish very good. I live in northern NY and the Santa Fe has served me very well in this last rough winter. The AWD feature is sure footed for safe, comportable and reliable transportation. The 3.7 V6 is powerful and very quick when passing another vehicle. I would buy another in a heartbeat but I would buy it somewhere other than a Fucillo dealership. The reasons for that decision would be material for a book.

Love my Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Pharmdoc77 - February 20 - 2:00 amI was looking for a sporty SUV that is reliable and efficient. I got it with the Hyundai Santa Fe. No need for 4WD as I purchased the 4 cylinder model with front wheel drive. This baby plowed through 12 inches of unpaved snow without a buckle with no problem. On dry roads, this automobile gives a smooth and solid ride and takes the bumps effortlessly. The interior is stylish and well thought out. The 4 cylinder engine gives plenty of pep. I couldnt be happier with my purchase.

By phylvanem - February 15 - 10:00 amThis is the first new car that I have ever bought that hasnt had to be taken back to the dealer to fix incidentals. Nothing has ever been wrong, or unfinished. I am from Detroit, so this is my first foreign car.
